Widely recognized as one of the nation’s top appellate and environmental litigators, Malcolm Stewart is Deputy Solicitor General of the United States. He has argued 69 cases before the United States Supreme Court, including Decker v. Northwest Environmental Defense Center, EPA v. EME Homer City Generation, Sackett v. EPA, and Monsanto Co. v. Geertson Seed Farms. He will discuss environmental law advocacy before the Supreme Court, including recently decided cases and cases now pending in the Court.
Mr. Stewart has worked in the United States Department of Justice since 1991. Previously, he served as an Assistant to the Solicitor General and as a member of the Appellate Staff of the Justice Department’s Civil Division.
