Speed Date an Extreme Expert

Speed Date an Extreme Expert

Presented by Natural History Museum of Utah at Natural History Museum of Utah

This is speed "dating" museum-style.  You’re guaranteed a fast-paced, engaging, and informative evening. From 7:00-9:00 pm, you’ll hear from six extreme experts.

You and a group will gather with an expert for 10 minutes and listen to incredible stories before time is up and you move to the next storyteller. Learn how an Olympic mogul skier prepares mentally for a championship run. Discover how a hotshot firefighter reacts when surrounded by flames. Listen as an Air Med paramedic describes the conditions in which he and his team make life-saving rescues.

This is unlike any program we have offered before. Cost is only $15 and includes light refreshments and a bounce-back pass for free admission to the museum.

Tell your friends! Tell your family! It’s going to be a blast!

The experts:
Brandon Haberman – Director of photography & cameraman
Matt Griff – Stunt man
Heather McPhie – Olympic athlete, free style mogul skier
Nathan Morreale – Air med flight paramedic
John Platt- Wildland firefighter with the Logan Hotshots
