*Post-film discussion with director Rory Kennedy; Stuart Herrington, Col, U.S. Army (Ret.); and artist Binh Pho, who escaped from Vietnam in 1978. The discussion will be moderated by KUER News Director Terry Gildea.
In April 1975, during the final days of the Vietnam War, as the North Vietnamese Army closed in on Saigon, South Vietnamese resistance crumbled. Village after village fell to the North while the few military operatives still in the country contemplated withdrawal. With thousands of South Vietnamese lives hanging in the balance, those in control faced an impossible decision—who would go and who would be left behind.
