Set in a crumbling urban city center, a small group of devout worshipers in the community come together to save their church by putting on a “mass mob.” To share their message of faith, the members of the company take on the roles of Jesus Christ and his disciples to retell His parables using an eclectic mix of storytelling, puppetry, games, and music. The production dissolves hauntingly into a reenactment of the Last Supper and the Crucifixion. Through their presentation, Christ’s message of kindness, tolerance, and love come vibrantly to life.
