Come out for an early morning wetland birding adventure led by Dave Hanscom and Swaner staff. We will hike through the Swaner wetlands and head toward the spring-fed ponds in the heart of the Preserve. We look for migrating shorebirds, nesting sandhill cranes, and some of the other 100 species of birds seen on the Preserve. The walking route will be flat, but somewhat strenuous because the footing can be difficult and wet. Be prepared with waterproof boots as the ground is wet all year long.
