Earth system science seeks to integrate various disciplines to understand the Earth as a living organism. They will learn about all of these systems throughout the week and the many connections between them. For the first half of the day, they will explore the Museum and discover details of the atmosphere, hydrosphere, and lithosphere. In the afternoon at Red Butte Garden, they will connect each of these systems to the biosphere and uncover the details of food chains, predator/prey relationships, and decomposers to better understand how everything on Earth is truly connected.
