NHMU Fourth and Fifth Grade Camps: Archaeological Investigations

Join them for a week of camp that will have students exploring artifacts and gathering evidence of past human environments. Each morning at the Museum campers will discover the differences between anthropology and archaeology, participate in a trading game and gain an understanding of Utah’s past cultures. We’ll also learn how to weave baskets while creating pots and rock art. Each afternoon at Youth Theatre, young actors will explore the wonder of ancient civilizations from the farm laborers of early Mesopotamia to Egyptian mummies and ancient Greeks, young actors will love discovering the archaeological mysteries of the past through musical theatre.
