All are invited to the International Peace Gardens Festival!
The International Peace Gardens are located inside Jordan Park, on 1060 South
900 West in Salt Lake City. Opened in 1947, the Peace Gardens represent 28 countries
and symbolize the true spirit of history, cultural heritage, and world peace. It is
estimated that around 20,000 visitors frequent the International Peace Gardens each
year, including attendees of the annual festival which takes place on the third Saturday
Former Salt Lake County Mayor Peter Corroon will offer opening remarks that
this year’s festival. Following his speech will be performances from Salt Lake Chinese
Dance Arts as well as groups representing the Philippines, Greece, Scotland, Korea,
and Japan. International food booths will also be at this event, offering several choices
for every culinary taste.
The International Peace Gardens Festival is free and open to the public. For
