In Japanese, Kenshin means ‘Dedicated’ and ‘Taiko’ means drum. It has often been said that drumming is the heartbeat of Japan. Taiko is used to celebrate festivals and religious ceremonies and each song has a name and story behind it borrowing on thousands of years of tradition. Taiko groups are now taking this Japanese music style worldwide.
