Prepare, plan, train, exercise, respond, recover, mitigate…It’s what we do every day. We’re working to make Utah ready for disasters. And when Mother Nature doesn’t play nice, we help Utah respond. The Utah Division of Emergency Management is the state’s lead agency for coordinating state government’s resources in a disaster. We work with local government and we work with FEMA to get every resource in the right place at the right time while being good stewards of taxpayer dollars

We also run the Be Ready Utah program, helping Utahns everywhere to plan for emergencies.
