The Utah Figure Staking Club was founded in October 1951, where members skated on the Hygeia Iceland outdoor rink in Sugar House. Club became an affiliate member of US Figure Skating shortly after it formation. The Club moved to Bountiful, Utah when the “Bubble” was first built in the early 1970s.

We hosted our first National Championships in 1984, an Olympic year. The competition was held at the old Salt Palace, with practice ice at the Bountiful rink. We hosted the 1990 Championships as well, and then again in 1999 with the Olympic LOC as co-hosts. During theĀ 2002 Winter Games in Salt Lake City many of our athletes performed in Opening Ceremony.
