2007 was the first time for the St. George Book Festival. It was so successful that a second festival will be held this year in October. The festival will be part of the great celebration welcoming the city’s new Town Square. For many months citizens have watched the reworking of the area between the St. Gorge Tabernacle, the Woodward School, the new Library and the Community Arts Building. That huge open space is now transformed, with a tower, a fountain, an amphitheater and great lawns. It is ready for community events.
