Zivio Ethnic Arts Ensemble is a group of dancers and musicians based in Salt Lake City who specialize in traditional dances and music from the Balkan region. Zivio’s repertoire includes material from Bulgaria, Macedonia, and Croatia, among others. The songs and dances vary greatly from country to country, so an ordinary performance showcases a wide range of different countries and styles. Dancers wear traditional costumes during performances and the band plays authentic instruments. Zivio has a long history of performing in the Salt Lake City area, mostly taking part in annual international-themed festivals and charity events. The group has performed out of state as well as in Europe.
