The West Valley Symphony was founded in 1991 by founder Ralph Baker. It is an all-volunteer orchestra of 65-70 musicians from all over the Wasatch Front from Provo to Ogden.

The symphony presents quality concerts with music ranging from Classical to Pops for West Valley City and surrounding areas. The West Valley Symphony performs at the Utah Cultural Celebration Center Auditorium, and recently performed with the Choral Arts Society of Utah at Abravanel Hall in Salt Lake City for their annual Days of ’47 Pops Concert.

The West Valley Symphony performs annually with the Choral Arts Society of Utah for their KUTV/Salvation Army Holiday Pops concert to benefit the Angel Tree Program as well as participating in Utah Cultural Celebration Center’s WorldStage! concert series and WestFest.
