Lincoln Academy is a Charter school, which is a free, public school overseen by the Utah State Office of Education. It opened the fall of 2005 and closely aligns its Calendar with the Alpine School District. There is an eight-member Board of Trustees who founded the school and continue to hold the school in trust. The school director oversees the daily operations of the school and assists in fulfilling the mission of Lincoln Academy.
