A competitive swimmer turned artist, Jamie Wayman earned a degree in painting and drawing at the University of Utah in 2002. While at the University, Wayman received the esteemed Ethel Armstrong Rolapp award. Since then, Salt Lake Magazine identified her as an artist to watch and Southwest Art named her as one of the country’s important emerging artists in “21 under 31.”
