Adrian C. Van Suchtelen was born in Semarang, Indonesia and emigrated in the United States in 1957. This printmaker and painter is also an art educator who retired as Professor Emeritus from Utah State University in 2003 after 37 years of teaching. He earned an MFA at the Otis Art Institute in Los Angeles before coming to Utah.
