A Salt Lake City painter and educator, Flannery holds a BS degree in art from Brigham Young University and an MFA in painting from Utah State University. She has taught art in the secondary school systems of Box Elder, Granite and Davis School Districts since 1969. She works mostly in acrylics and watercolors with subjects typically everyday objects such as shopping carts, factories, window fans and family pets.
