Neurostar

NuStar, a suite of sculptures, take their inspiration from the cutting edge research of the James L. Sorenson Molecular Biotechnology Building. NuStar demonstrates that art and science are intimately linked, drawing strong parallels between artistic expression and the energy of scientific endeavor. Using concepts from bio-engineering, engineering, neurosciences, genetics, drug development, molecular biology, and their applications to healing, the NuStar sculptures construct a transformed reality of imaginary forms which activate and compliment the architecture of the Sorenson Building.
