Illinois native Lois S. Breeze was a talented oil and watercolor painter. She studied at Butler University in Indianapolis, the Cape Cod School of Art and graduated from the Herron School of Art and Design at Purdue University. She moved to Ogden in 1950 and studied with Phil Paradise, a noted California painter. She was an active member of the Ogden Palette Club and continued to be an exhibiting watercolorist until her death.
