The Foundry SLC is changing its name to The Upstairs at Modern West. With the name change comes new opportunities to further support our creative community. The Upstairs will host a wide range of artist workshops, performances, film screenings, concerts, lectures, classes and other offerings. The Upstairs is also excited to launch its Artist In Residency program, with local artists Liberty Blake & Jann Haworth kicking things off beginning January 3, 2020 with the Work in Progress Mural.

The Upstairs at Modern West is a coworking space in Salt Lake City for creators and working artists alike, with the unique feature of an on-site photography studio. Our space boasts an open floor plan, a conference room, unlimited coffee, drinks and snacks, our equipped photography studio and free and ample parking. Adjacent to artist studios, architecture firms, a print shop, a coffee shop, the Intermodal Hub and a nationally renowned art gallery, this is an inspiring space to create, collaborate, attend a workshop or host your next event.
