The L. Clark Cushing Heritage Center is funded and operated by Murray City. Operations of the Center are directed by the Center Director, the Director of Public Services and the Murray City Administration, with the Murray City Council responsible for establishing policy. There is a nine member, Mayor-appointed, volunteer Advisory Board who assists the Director by their advice and consent on Center issues. The role and mission of the Heritage Center is to offer recreational and leisure-time activities, social services, nutritious meals, and educational, instructional, and cultural programs for the general health and well being of senior adults.
