Founded in 1933, SCERA is a non-profit charitable arts organization dedicated to the development and advancement of arts and culture, arts education, and wholesome and affordable family entertainment. Our goal is to “enrich the mind, touch the soul and unify the family.”

SCERA Center for the Arts is home to the 733-seat Clarke Grand Theatre which offers Movies and Special Events and the 450-seat Showhouse II, where the SCERA Indoor Season and Theatre for Young Audiences performances are held. The Center also features Gallery 101 for art exhibits and multi-purpose rooms to house arts education programs in drama, music, dance, art and more. Complementing the historic building is a beautifully-landscaped Outdoor Courtyard featuring a sundial, family sculptures and a giant playable chessboard.
