Copperview Elementary is located in the middle of a well-established community in Midvale City. Some of the earliest homes built in Salt Lake Valley are within the school’s boundaries. The area has produced many noteworthy citizens, including former Congressman Dan Marriott, Astronaut Don Lind, and prominent civic leader Maurine C. Jensen. The school also serves students living in a rapidly expanding area of apartment houses and mobile home units.
