Margaret Morrison is an Athens, Georgia artist and art professor, best known for her paintings of still life, figurative, and surrealist subjects. She is also known for her realistic paintings of brightly-colored candies and toys. A native of Utah, she received her training from the University of Utah, where she earned a BFA in 1981 and an MFA in 1988. She is currently a professor at the University of Georgia’s Lamar Dodd School of Art.
