Dennis Smith is a popular and successful Utah-based sculptor. He studied at Brigham Young University, and was one of the founders of the Mormon Art and Belief movement that began in Utah County. His large commissioned bronzes are in public sites across the United States, and smaller bronzes and fabricated works are in many public and private collections. Smith is less well-known for his brightly colored, painterly canvases evoking a simpler small-town or farm life.
