Brent Gehring was a sculptor and printmaker originally from Salt Lake City, Utah. He studied art at Brigham Young University and the University of Washington. He is known for his modern, almost fantasy/symbolist abstractions with mixed media and etching. Gehring taught art at the BYU Department of Art.
