Amateur photographer Richard Rasmussen was the owner of Rasmussen Equipment Company. Rasmussen attended the University of Utah on a football scholarship and was a member of the ski team. Rasmussen began taking photographs on international travels and encouraged by friends and family, he began compiling the images in an annual calendar. His work is exhibited at the Huntsman Cancer Center and included in many private collections.
