Bus shelter decoration: In 1868 prospectors discovered silver sticking out of the ground near Park City most had to be mined from the underground as deep as 2,500 feet from veins ranging from a couple of inches to several feet wide. When a silver vein is found in the rock, it has to be blasted into pieces small enough to be taken out of the ground through a network of tunneling and shafts in small rail cars.
