Rosine Howard Salisbury, whose husband, Cornelius Salisbury, and son Paul were also popular landscape painters in Utah, was a well-known artist and teacher. She exhibited frequently in Utah, winning many awards, and taught at Irving Junior High, the Art Barn, the University of Utah, and from 1929 to 1952 at Rowland Hall School for Girls.
