Here and Now

Silvia Davis was born in Cupertino, California, and came to Salt Lake City in 1966. She earned a BFA in sculpture at the University of Utah. Her style has been described as geometric realism; her carved wood or cast bronze works have a wit and charm not usual in “”serious”” sculpture. Davis is represented in public, corporate, and private collections in Utah. She is married to painter Paul Davis.
