Homeless Series

Susan Gallacher was born in Salt Lake City, Utah. She is a painter whose subject matter includes figurative genre, floral still life, and plein air landscapes. She is also an art educator and gallery owner. Gallacher studied art at the University of Utah where Paul Davis and Ed Maryon were strong influences. In the 1970’s, she began her career teaching art in secondary schools. Gallacher taught at the University of Utah and the King’s Gallery and Academy of Art, which she established in 1984. Her work has been exhibited throughout Utah.
