Born in Salt Lake City, Blanche Peterson Wilson grew up in Portland, Oregon. She attended Marylhurst College and received a B. degree from Weber State College in 1966. Wilson continued studies at Brigham Young University, earning an MA in 1972. Primarily a printmaker, Wilson is recognized for her exceptional ability with woodcut printing techniques.
