Laurel Casjens is a professional curator, photographer, traveler and a self-described lover of wild places. Since 1983 she has worked in the museum field including positions as a curator at the Utah Museum of Natural History, the Museum of Peoples and Cultures, and the Utah Office of Museum Services. She taught basic photography for the Communications Department at the University of Utah and has taught photographic workshops at the Salt Lake Art Center.
