Rocky Shelf

Utah landscape artist Purcell has been a member of the art faculty at Snow College, Ephraim, Utah, for twenty-six years. He is a member of the prestigious National Watercolor Society, the Utah Watercolor Society and the Nevada Watercolor Society. He holds both BA and MFA degrees from Brigham Young University. Besides teaching at Snow College, Purcell is a popular workshop instructor, presenting programs around the American West and in England. His paintings are in the collections of the Utah Arts Council, Zions Bank, and the Springville Museum of Art.
