This talented Salt Lake City artist is also a respected member of the local medical community. Stephen E. Prather, M.D. was born in Manhattan, Kansas and after receiving a medical degree from the University of Kansas, Dr. Prather completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Utah. He also completed a four-year study of still-life and landscape painting under Utah realist painter Randall Lake. Prather’s work has also been exhibited at the Springville National April Salon.
