Julie D. Buckley, a native of Provo, Utah, earned degrees in Fine Art, Design (BA, 1981) and Art Education (MA, 1998), at Brigham Young University. She taught in the Park City School District and, while working on her degree in art education, she taught at BYU. She later taught at Utah Valley University. Buckley works in mixed media assemblages of print and photo-transfer processes combined with found objects, polymer clay and casts of acrylic resin.
