The Water Turn

Osral Allred was from Ephraim and Spring City, Utah. He was a painter and educator who studied at Snow College (A.S.) and Utah State University (BFA, 1963; MFA, 1967). He briefly taught at Bonneville High School and in 1966 became an instructor of mathematics and engineering drawing at Snow College. He soon narrowed his duties there to art instructor only and served as professor and co-director of the Snow College art program. As a watercolorist, he was a performer in terms of total control of his medium as a powerful designer and draftsman.
