Dean Millman was a successful and gifted Utah artist who died from leukemia at 29. A highly talented, traditional realist painter, working in watercolor and oil, he studied art at Brigham Young University, but left to paint professionally full-time before finishing work on a degree. Today Dean Millman is perhaps remembered more for having died before his promise was fulfilled, than for his accomplishments as an artist.
