Born in Salt Lake City, Richard Burton studied business and economics at the University of Utah (BS, 1964) and from 1968-1970 he studied photography at the Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles. He is a very talented professional Salt Lake City photographer and has created numerous and vivid images of Utah’s environment and people over the years. His commitment to high quality in all of the arts is well known. He also served as Curator of Photography for the Utah Museum of Fine Arts.
