A talented painter of both realistic and semi-abstract works, Davidson was a member of the Utah Watercolor Society and active with the Associated Utah Artists and the Ogden Palette Club. Davidson was a graduate of Weber State College and also studied at the University of Oregon, the University of Utah, the Chicago Art Institute, and the Chicago Academy of Art.
