Ka Lama Mohala Foundation

The Hawaiian Cultural Center’s purpose is to establish a place where the native Hawaiian community can learn, share and experience their culture and unique lifestyle of the “islands” right here in Utah. The Center represents an excellent resource to learn of the Hawaiian traditions, understand its rich heritage and a place to come experience the “Spirit of Aloha.”

The Center is for anyone who wishes to visit, spend lunch here, just come in to read a book or watch a video or DVD in the library area. The library has books for all ages to enjoy from kamali’i (children) to na makua(adult) and na kupuna (elders) featuring titles from ancient legends to Hawai’i’s Royal Monarchy, ono recipes to sea life; the foundation is adding more and more books to the collection and appreciate any suggestions. Come and relax with a favorite book or check out books for resource or research.
