Memorial House has been a gathering place for weddings, receptions and parties since the 1920s. The same features that attracted guests to this venue nearly 100 years ago are still in place today: an elegant historic hall illuminated by natural light, chandeliers and a working fireplace, a garden setting amidst the monuments and waterways of Memory Grove Park, and a convenient location just minutes from downtown yet hidden away in the peaceful environment of City Creek Canyon.
Whether you are planning a traditional wedding in white or a colorful anniversary party with live music and dancing, Memorial House offers a sociable setting with stylish elegance. We welcome upscale corporate dinners and business lunches, as well as casual family brunches, nonprofit retreats, memorable celebrations of life, and of course weddings.

If you are attending an event at Memorial House, a guard will greet you at the gate and allow you into Memory Grove Park.
If you are coming for an appointment, press the call button on the call box which is located 30 feet before the gate on the left hand side.
Parking is available within Memory Grove Park on both sides of the street. Events held at Memorial House has access to over 100 private parking spaces.

Memorial House is truly a venue to be enjoyed in all seasons. In the wintertime, clients return to Memorial House annually to enjoy our fire-lit main hall for festive holiday gatherings. Come springtime, Memory Grove Park bursts with greenery, and tulips and irises adorn the patio and garden. In the summer, we are one of Salt Lake City’s most in-demand locations for weddings and family gatherings, with indoor and outdoor spaces available. In autumn, the park is aglow with red and orange maples in anticipation of the first snowfall to settle upon the marble steps of Mediation Chapel and the Pagoda.
No matter what the occasion, we have a beautiful setting to meet your needs for groups of 30 to 300.

Directions I-15 from the South: Take the 600 South exit. Turn left onto State Street heading north and continue until the North Temple intersection. Turn right onto Second Avenue and make your first immediate left onto Canyon Road (120 East). Drive up Canyon Road to the entrance gate of Memory Grove Park. I-15 from the North: Take the 600 North exit, turn right onto 300 West heading south. Turn left onto North Temple and continue until you cross over State Street. Make the first immediate left on Canyon Road (120 East). Drive up Canyon Road to the entrance gate of Memory Grove Park.
