COVID-19 UPDATE: Please check with individual organizations and venues for specific requirements regarding health precautions.
With guidance from Utah State University and the Summit County Health Department, the Swaner EcoCenter will reopen to guests on Saturday, September 12th.
After a fun summer of youth camps and guided Preserve tours, we are excited to welcome you back into the EcoCenter! Starting on September 12th, 2020, the EcoCenter will be open Friday – Sunday from 10 am to 4 pm. Our community’s health and safety is our primary objective. We have made some updates to the EcoCenter experience. We will cap the number of guests at a time to 20, and have new cleaning procedures in place to do all that we can to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Face coverings will be required in accordance with Summit County order number 2020-09. For those with conditions that prevent them from wearing a mask, please call 435-797-8943. We will provide reasonable accommodations that allow for safe enjoyment of the Preserve and EcoCenter for all.
More information about the EcoCenter’s reopening policies can be found here.
The Swaner Preserve and EcoCenter is a 1,200 acre nature Preserve and a 10,000 square foot LEED Platinum building with interactive exhibits about the surrounding environment.
