The Prehistoric Museum

Located in downtown Price, Utah – The Prehistoric Museum, USU Eastern offers the visitor both paleontology and archaeology with sprinklings of geology including a fluorescent minerals exhibit.

See hands-on exhibits with bilingual text, cell phone tours, which accompany select exhibits, real dinosaur bone, dinosaur tracks, baskets, pottery, and so much more.

Observation Labs are an area of the museum where visitors can witness the processes of fossil preparation and curation as well as speak with museum technicians in a one-on-one setting.

For the little ones, there is a Discovery Area where the kids can play. This area offers a delightful dinosaur “dig” and a child-sized pithouse as well as coloring pages, puppets, and hands-on activities.

An art gallery plays host to several art exhibitions per year and will prove to be a wonderful addition to your museum experience.
