Your park experience will look a little different, but it is to ensure the safety of you and our employees. Below you can find important information regarding your visit. If you have any questions about what to expect, please reach out to us on social media or at customerservice@thisistheplace.org.1. All visits will now require a timed ticket to help limit the amount of people in the Park at one time. You must come during your designated time slot. Membership holders may visit the Park during any time slot on any day without needing to purchase/reserve tickets. The
Daily general admission will be Monday-Friday from 10:00am-2:00pm. Saturday from 10:00am-4:00pm. Closed Sundays.
The Visitor Center/Gift Shop will open from 9:00am-3:00pm Monday-Friday and 9:00am-5:00pm Saturday. Closed Sundays.
2. During the reopening phase, the trains, children’s playground, pony rides and some other features and areas will be closed. As the government rules make it possible to reopen these in a safe manner they will be added to the program.
3. To comply with Salt Lake County official suggestions, all Park visitors are strongly encouraged to wear a face covering whenever possible. Employees will wear face masks while working. If you don’t have a mask, a limited number will be available for purchase in the Gift Shop.

The 450-acre This Is The Place Heritage Park is the home of the Heritage Village living history site, which features more than 40 original and replica houses and businesses filled with villagers who demonstrate crafts, trades and home-making skills typical of 19th century Utah. There are several opportunities for hands-on crafts and activities, such as pioneer chores, school lessons and farm animals to see and pet. Kids and adults alike can ride the train or horse-drawn wagons.
