Ashley Glazier

Ashley Glazier was born in Fort Lauderdale, FL and was raised in Boise, ID. Like a lot of artists, she’s always been creating in one form or another since childhood, but it wasn’t until college that she oil painted for the first time. She immediately knew that oil painting was something she wanted to pursue for the rest of her life. She graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration in 2017. She is now an aspiring fine artist. Ashley currently lives in Provo, Utah with her husband, Tyler and their cat, Oscar. Ashley loves to be outside in nature, go for runs, do yoga, meditate, and collect all kinds of books about art.

Artist Statement

I have always been drawn to still-life paintings. I believe there is something to be felt and seen about the inanimate objects we are surrounded by everyday. Some of these objects are menial and routine, yet others we instill great meaning. In each painting I try to show the quiet intricate beauty these objects have to offer.
