Elizabeth Abbott

Elizabeth is a Salt Lake City native who currently splits her time between Utah and Los Angeles. As an actor, she has been seen on stages across the Wasatch front, and currently works from her home studio as a voice actor and dialect coach. Her voice can be heard on projects for DC Comics, Toyota, Microsoft, McDonald’s, PBS and many more.

As a speech and dialect coach proficient in 25+ accents/dialects, Liz has trained hundreds of professional and aspiring actors in preparation roles and auditions requiring various accents and dialects. The actors she’s coached have landed roles in film, TV, video games, and national theatre tours.

For over a decade, Liz worked at the University of Utah as a career counselor and academic advisor, developing resources to most effectively assist emerging artists in achieving their career goals. She researched and gathered 4000+ effective arts career web links and developed several of her own unique arts career tools which are used in localized markets nationwide.

Training: Vocology Certificate (National Center for Voice & Speech); British American Drama Academy (Oxford Acting Program); BA Theater, (University of Utah). Memberships: PAVA (Pan American Vocology Association); Lessac Institute; Certified Change Leader (Utah Division of Arts & Museums).
