Pioneer Theatre Company is holding auditions for Once On This Island, a musical based on a sea-swept Caribbean folk tale about a young couple in love. Ti Moune, a peasant girl, falls in love with Daniel Beauxhomme, a rich, privileged boy from across the island. The captivating romance is guided by the Gods Erzulie, Asaka, Papa Ge and Agwe, who rule the island and guide Ti Moune on a remarkable quest to reunite with the boy who has captured her heart. The production runs from February 21 - March 7, 2020.
Adult auditions for Once On This Island will be held on Friday, September 27, 2019 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. (2 p.m. to 3 p.m is reserved for AEA only).
Actors for the role for the young girl Ti Moune, age 10-14, no taller than 58", will be seen on the same day from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Callbacks, by invitation only, will be Saturday, September 28, 2019.

All auditions will be held at Simmons Pioneer Memorial Theatre. Performers of all ethnic and racial backgrounds are encouraged to audition. Auditioners must come in to sign up on the callboard in Room 325 at the Roy W. and Elizabeth E. Simmons Pioneer Memorial Theatre. All roles are available.
