Call for Artists- Crosswalks and Tactical Urban Artwork

The City of South Jordan and the South Jordan Arts Council are requesting proposals for the commissioning of four proposals for tactical urban artwork using pipe graffiti art or other ideas the artist proposes at any of the four different parks/locations. These are not large scale murals, but rather a small and creative element to enhance each park. The purpose of this project is to create a sense of community and add vibrancy to the City. These areas host a variety recreation, activities and regular park use.

In addition, the City of South Jordan and the South Jordan Arts Council are requesting proposals for the commissioning of two proposals for crosswalk artwork on Towne Center Drive. Crosswalks were previously painted in 2022 and in need a fresh idea and coat of paint. The purpose of this project is to create a sense of community and add vibrancy to the City.

The installation of these works will be completed and installed this spring 2024.
